Your kitchen home

Your kitchen’s home page is where it opens at its own web address — a landing spot for everyone in the kitchen, with quick ways to add a recipe, jump to the part you want, and drop something on your shopping list. It carries your kitchen’s own heading and subtitle at the top, so it reads as yours.

Add a recipe

Tap Add a Recipe… at the top of the page. It opens Mirabel and starts her guided add-a-recipe flow. Point her at a recipe — a website link, pasted text, a photo, or a backup file — and she builds a draft for you to review and save. Prefer to write it out yourself? Choose I’ll type it myself and she opens a blank editor for you to fill in.

Add to your grocery list

Type an item into the Add to grocery list… field and press Enter (or tap Add). The item joins your Groceries list, and a line confirms it — Added {item} to your list, with a View groceries link to open the list. The field clears so you can add another.

The item lands on the list the same as a custom item you add on the Groceries page — see Custom items.

Get back home

Wherever you are in your kitchen, open the Mirepoix menu from the brand pill in the top-left corner. The first row — your kitchen’s name, with your own name and role beneath it — is the link home. Tap it to return to this page.

Who sees it

The home page is for members of the kitchen. Anyone who isn’t a member — or isn’t signed in — lands on the Recipes list instead, so shared recipes stay reachable to guests.
